Happy anniversary to our Greek Romanian-diplomatic relations!!! September, 2025- Serres-Romanian Delegation
„Today, our hearts beat together to celebrate 145 years of diplomatic relations and the 10 years of the Serexpo fair. The economy has brought us closer, tens of billions of euros in investments, thousands of active companies, but our relationship is much more than numbers, it is a story about people, friendship, cultures and values.
Our trade is not just an exchange of products, but a meeting of traditions.
For me, the most important thing is to be happy. Happiness means health, which is what I wish for everyone present. Happiness means finding solutions, even when it seems impossible. In the present, we are living in difficult economic times and if we believe in ourselves, are patriots, join forces, we will succeed together. Together let’s continue development, close ranks, find common and complementary points and give people hope an support, that we are capable of giving happiness, which means that I am extremely determined to continue the win-to-win policy, in order to remain respected in the international market. The RIZ program that I have been coordinating represents the economic bilateral cooperation, support for investment and commercial needs of the Romanian City Halls, as well as of the local companies in agriculture, industry and tourism.
Today, we challenge you to a wide range of diverse topics and I promise you that I will do my best to help understand the needs, both of the Greek people of Serres, and those of Romania, to support your initiatives, to help you find optimal solutions, which will be completed with profit.
I conclude by saying that the Black Sea and the Aegean Sea, although they separate our shores, are at the same time the bridge that connects us, two great sisters, two gates to the world, two mirrors that have always existed.
