ALUNU City Hall looking for a new investors for 2 lands-848 sqm and 1868 sqm, to develop few agriculture area like: fruit / vegetable collection and processing center; animal products collection and processing center (meat products, dairy products); beekeeping products collection and processing center
The zootechnical potential is high, with 1200 cattle, 3500 pigs, several hundred sheep and goats and over 15000 birds that receive a natural diet using the meadows and pastures of the locality. For these reasons we can say that the products made by small entrepreneurs in Alunu have the quality of BIO products. However, the specific activity of Alunu is the beekeeping activity. In Alunu there are a number of over 150 beekeepers who take care of about 2000 bee families, producing a high quality honey, sought after by lovers of this product. In terms of agriculture this is made in particular system on small soils, the basic production being a cereal one, ensuring the needs of each family
Alunu commune submitted through the Large Infrastructure Operational Program a project aimed at “Development of intelligent natural gas distribution networks in order to increase the level of flexibility, safety, efficiency in operation, as well as integration of transport, distribution and final consumption activities in ALUNU commune and the belonging localities (Alunu, Bodeşti, Colteşti, Igoiu, Ilaciu, Roşia, Ocracu), Vâlcea county ”. The project is being evaluated.
