Lehliu Gara was born in 1875 with the construction of the Bucharest – Fetesti railway. It developed at its intersection with the road that connects Bucharest to Calarasi, a port on the Danube, at a distance of 55 km from Călărași and 64 km from Bucharest. History speaks of grain traders, industrial goods and food traders.The soils are formed on a loess bedrock, from a natural and grassy vegetation, very productive meadow soils with good phreatic food, suitable for a quality agriculturure. The city of Lehliu Gara is located in the Bărăgan plain and is crossed by the Bucharest – Constanța highway. Today, agriculture is represented by the large quantities, organized in associations -7631 ha. The activity that represents us is the production and processing of seeds and vegetable oils, processing and processing of animal products, but also the well-developed industry sector.
Lehliu Gara has lands for investments and is open for facilities offered to developers.
