Financing contracts for Reghin signed by the Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, Cseke Attila Cseke Attila, Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, visited Reghin on March 26. During his working visit, the ongoing investments, financed by the National Investment Company (CNI), were evaluated.
The Minister expressed his support for Reghin, through investments in infrastructure and coherent economic programs, to join the developing cities in the short term. Shortly afterwards, Cseke Attila, Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, signed the financing contract for the modernization of Apalinei Street, as well as the rehabilitation of the “Florea Bogdan” Gymnasium School, amounting to 25,422,398.68 lei.

The current situation of the bypass in Reghin was discussed and it was agreed to establish a partnership agreement to speed up the procedures. In an optimistic scenario, the procurement procedure will take place in 2022.
The investment is financed by the government from European funds. During the day of May 13, a working meeting was held on the project documentation for the detour, attended by representatives of the Regional Directorate of Roads and Bridges Brasov, Liliana Horga, regional director and Olariu Carmen, deputy director of investments, who gave assurances that they will do everything possible to start the works within the established deadline.
Rehabilitation of playground-investment from the local administration budget, amounting to 532 thousand lei.
The youngest residents of the Rodna neighborhood will enjoy a modern space in where to spend their freetime. It promises to be friendlier and safer. The local administration has already started the complete rehabilitation of the playground in the Rodna neighborhood. From the two project proposals, the most optimal and child-friendly option was chosen.
The investment is from the local administration budget, amounting to 532 thousand lei. The completion of the project, according to the contract, is two months, starting with April 21. The new space will also be enjoyed by the elderly,as the project also provides special places for adults .The football field will be divided in two in order to create recreation spaces for both the elderly and children. Children will be able to enjoy playground equipment, street furniture, the area will benefit from benches and trash cans, and it will be video protected. ”The contracted company will work continuously so that the inhabitants of Reghin can enjoy this new playground in the shortest possible time.

During Friday, May 14, the first two hybrid buses arrived in Reghin, part of the 10 purchased within the project “Ensuring mobility in Reghin Municipality, Mureș County”, financed by the REGIO Program, Priority Axis 3.
“We have the first two hybrid buses, Euro 6, equipped with indoor cameras, digitized, so we can measure how many people get on and off every day. We are glad that we can offer an alternative to the citizens, to be able to go with these modern buses all over the city, to put the cars aside and to use these clean buses, absolutely brand new ”, said Márk Endre, mayor of Reghin, shortly after the buses arrived in Reghin. According to him, during this year, four more such Solaris Urbino 12 hybrid buses will arrive, with mixed engine, diesel and electric, and next year another four will come.
The endowment with hybrid buses is part of a larger project, entitled “Ensuring mobility in Reghin Municipality, Mureș County”, financed by the REGIO Program, Priority Axis 3. It also has a component of road infrastructure, respectively the modernization of Axente Sever, Ierbus streets ,Salcâmilor and Câmpului street. We have the technical project completed, the work only needs to be tendered.It is an important financial investment and we hope that towards the end of this year we will start the road infrastructure works. Then we will be able to enjoy these buses running in very good conditions, on a new road structure, so that we can integrate them into traffic as soon as possible “, Mark Endre underlined.
